วิหารพระมงคลบพิตร จ.พระนครศรีอยุธยา

ต่อมาในรัชสมัย พระเจ้าอยู่หัวบรมโกศ เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2285 ได้ทรงบูรณะปฏิสังขรณ์องค์พระและมณฑป โดยเปลี่ยนหลังคาเดิมเป็นแบบพระวิหาร และซ่อมพระเศียรพระมงคลบพิตรที่หักลง เมื่อครั้งที่เกิดไฟไฟม้จากการถูกฟ้าผ่า
