ในปัจจุบันภาษาอังกฤษมีความสำคัญในการสื่อสารกับชาวต่างชาติโดยปัจจุบันได้เป็นภาษาที่สำคัญมากๆอีกทั่งยังสำคัญกับธุรกิจอีกด้วยเนื่องจากในการทำธุรกิจต้องมีการติดต่อสื่อสารทำธุรกิจกับผู้ร่วมธุรกิจชาติอื่นๆมากมาย และภาษาที่ใช้ติดต่อกันนั้นก็เป็นภาษาอังกฤษ ภาษาอังกฤษถือเป็นภาษาหลักที่ไม่ว่าจะเป็นคนประเทศอะไรก็จะใช้ในการสื่อสารเหมือนเป็นภาษากลางที่ใช้ในการติดต่อสื่อสารไม่ว่าจะเรื่องธุรกิจหรือสื่อสารปกติกับคนที่ไม่ได้ใช้ภาษาเดียวกันก็ตาม ภาษาอังกฤษมีบทบาทมากในปัจจุบันโดยเฉพาะด้านการทำงานถ้าสามารถสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษได้ก็จะเป็นผลดีต่อเรามากการทำงานก็จะง่ายขึ้น การสมัครงานต่างๆ ก็จะดีกว่าคนที่ไม่สามารสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษได้ เพราะภาษาอังกฤษสำคัญเราจึงหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ได้ที่ในอนาคตเราจะต้องเจอกับภาษาอังกฤษโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งกับการทำงาน กับธุรกิจในอนาคต
ดังนั้นการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษจึงมีความสำคัญอย่างมากในปัจจุบัน ความรู้สึกต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษนั้นอาจจะมีบ้างที่ไม่ค่อยเข้าใจในภาษาแต่ก็แค่เป็นส่วนเล็กๆเท่านั้นเพราะการถ่ายทอดความรู้จากอาจารย์นั้นทำให้เข้าใจได้ภาษาอังกฤษได้มากขึ้น ได้เรียนและทำแบบฝึกหัดต่างๆมากมายในหนังสือทำให้สามารถเข้าใจหลักการใช้ได้มากขึ้น นอกจากจะได้ทำแบบฝึกหัดแล้วยังได้ฟังคำอธิบายหลักการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษจากอาจารย์ผู้สอน นอกจากนี้ยังได้ลองฝึกแต่งประโยคหรือทำตามแบบฝึกหัดอีกมากมายการเรียนจึงรู้สึกสนุกที่ได้ลองคิดลองทำ ได้เรียนรู้การพูด การฟัง การอ่าน และการเขียนเพื่อที่จะได้นำไปใช้ในอนาคต ในชีวิตประจำวันไม่ว่าจะการสื่อสารทั่วไปหรือการนำไปทำงานต่างๆ และวิชานี้ได้ให้ความรู้การใช้ภาษาอังกฤษ สอนให้เรียนรู้และสามารถนำไปต่อยอดใช้ได้ในต่อๆไปได้
