การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาความคิดเห็นของประชาชนต่อคุณลักษณะของผู้นำองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลสาคู อำเภอถลาง จังหวัดภุเก็ต และข้อเสนอแนะของประชาชนต่อคุณลักษณะของผู้นำองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลสาคู อำเภอถลาง จังหวัดภูเก็ต ประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ ประชาชนผู้มีสิทธิเลือกตั้งในเขตตำบลสาคู อำเภอถลาง จังหวัดภูเก็ต มีประชาชนที่ใช้ในการศึกษาทั้งสิ้น 4,400 คนขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 367 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลค่าร้อยละ (Percentage) ค่าเฉลี่ย (Mean) ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (Standard Deviation)
