การศึกษาการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนในการพัฒนาแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศ ในพื้นที่กู่ลัวะ-ป่างดง-ปงไหว เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงผสานวิธี มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนในการพัฒนาแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศของชุมชนโดยรอบพื้นที่กู่ลัวะ-ป่าดง-ปงไหว 2) เพื่อศึกษาการมีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนาแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศของชุมชนโดยรอบพื้นที่กู่ลัวะ-ป่าดง-ปงไหว และ3) เพื่อเป็นแนวทางการพัฒนาแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศพื้นที่กู่ลัวะ-ป่าดง-ปงไหว โดยศึกษากลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 220 ครัวเรือน และสัมภาษณ์ผู้มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้อง ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนด้านผู้นำอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนด้านการสนับสนุนจากองค์กรภายนอกอยู่ในระดับน้อยที่สุด และปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนด้านการับรู้ข้อมูลข่าวสารอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ศึกษาการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนในการพัฒนาแหล่งท่องเที่ยว การมีส่วนร่วมของชุนด้านการค้นหาอยู่ในระดับดีมาก มีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนด้านการวางแผนและการตัดสินใจอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง มีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนด้านการดำเนินกิจกรรมอยู่ในระดับน้อยที่สุด มีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนด้านการรับผลประโยชน์อยู่ในระดับดี และมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนด้านการติดตามและประเมินผลอยู่ในระดับน้อย มีแนวทางในการวางแผนในการดำเนินกิจกรรมหรือโครงการ และมีการตัดสินใจร่วมกันในการค้นหาปัญหา มีการจัดประชุม จนกระทั่งมีการแก้ไขปัญหาร่วมกัน และได้เปิดโอกาสให้คนในชุมชนมามีส่วนร่วมในการจัดการในแหล่งท่องเที่ยว
