ถ้าพบในหญิงตั้งครรภ์ระยะ 3 เดือนแรกแนะนำผู้ป่วยให้ไปโรงพยาบาล อาจต้องตรวจเลือดพิสูจน์ถ้าเป็นจริง อาจพิจารณายุติการตั้งครรภ์
