วิจัยนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการออกกำลังกาย ของนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่1 ปีการศึกษา 2558 มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น วิทยาเขตหนองคาย ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่1 ปีการศึกษา2558 มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น วิทยาเขตหนองคาย จำนวน 100 คน แบ่งตามสังกัดคณะ ได้แก่ คณะบริหารธุรกิจ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ประยุกต์และวิศวะกรรมศาสตร์ คณะสังคมบูรณาการณ์ และคณะศิลปศาสตร์ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถาม (Questionnaires) เป็นเครื่องมือเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากนักศึกษา นำแบบสอบถามไปให้กลุ่มตัวอย่างกรอกและรวบรวมแบบสอบถามด้วยตัวเอง
