บทคัดย่อ

บทอ่านการ์ตูนเป็นสื่อจริงที่เจ้าของภาษาใช้ เป็นสื่อที่เหมาะสมในการฝึกอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ เพราะภาพการ์ตูนมีสีสันดึงดูดใจและภาษาที่ใช้เป็นภาษาที่เจ้าของภาษาใช้จริง ช่วยให้นักเรียนเข้าใจเนื้อหาบทเรียนได้รวดเร็ว ช่วยให้นักเรียนมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับครูผู้สอนและเพื่อนๆ และยังช่วยให้นักเรียนได้ใช้ภาษาในการสื่อสารที่ใกล้เคียงกับสถานการณ์จริง การศึกษาค้นคว้าครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมาย 1) เพื่อศึกษาประสิทธิภาพของการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ
โดยใช้บทอ่านการ์ตูนของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ที่มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 70/70

การศึกษาค้นคว้าครั้งนี้ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2/1 โรงเรียนมหาชัยวิทยาคม จำนวน 20 คน ซึ่งได้มาโดยการเลือกสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม (Cluster RandomSampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แผนการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้และแบบทดสอบวัดทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ โดยใช้บทอ่านการ์ตูน ซึ่งแบบทดสอบปรนัยชนิด 4 ตัวเลือก มีค่าอำนาจจำแนก 0.20-0.88 และมีค่าความเชื่อมั่นทั้งฉบับเท่ากับ 0.94 และแบบทดสอบทักษะการอ่านออกเสียง มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.61 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและการทดสอบสมมติฐานโดยใช้ t-test (Dependent Samples)

ผลการศึกษาค้นคว้า พบว่า
1. กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ โดยใช้บทอ่านการ์ตูน ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 มีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 75.38 / 70.20 ซึ่งเป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ที่ตั้งไว้
2. ดัชนีประสิทธิผลของกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ โดยใช้บทอ่านการ์ตูน ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 มีค่าเท่ากับ 0.7293 แสดงว่า การจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ โดยใช้บทอ่านการ์ตูน ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ทำให้นักเรียนมีความก้าวหน้าทางการเรียนร้อยละ 60.38
