A new frame surrounds the derived centre square: extensions of a defined dimension are added at the corners, diagonals that represent the width of the corner columns of the hall. Their width defines the actually visible outline of the space.
Another centred square is produced using the same Golden Section construction as in the last step, but here is related to the outer grid field. This square limits the inner gallery.
