ที่มาและความสำคัญของโครงงาน
ปัญหายาเสพติดเป็นปัญหาสำคัญประกาiหนึ่งของประเทศ ซึ่งบ่อนทำลายทรัพยากรและความมั่นคงของประเทศชาติและสังคมเป็นอย่างมาก ได้มีการดำเนินงานในทุกวิถีทางที่จะป้องกันและปราบปามมิให้มีการเสพ การซื้อขาย และการผลิตยาเสพติด แต่เนื่องจากปัญหายาเสพติดเป็นปัญหาใหม่ที่มีความยุ่งยากและสลับซับซ้อน่อการดำเนินการ จำจำเป็นต้องวางแผนสำหรับดำเนินงานในแต่ละด้านอย่างรอบคอบ และไม่ได้มีแต่ประเทศไทยแห่งเดียวเท่านั้น ประเทศอื่นๆก็ได้มีความพยายามที่จะยับยั้งการเสพ การซื้อขาย และการผลิตยาเสพติดอยู่ตลอดเวลา พฤติกรรมการใช้ยาของมนุษย์นั้น มีเหตุผลสองประการด้วยกัน คือ เพื่อช่วยให้ตัวเราอยู่ในสภาพที่ เป็นสภาพปกติ นั่นก็คือ เพื่อรักษาโรคและเพื่อปัดเป่าความเจ็บปวดให้เหือดหายไป หรือมิฉะนั้นก็ใช้ยาเพื่อปลดปล่อยตัวเราจากสภาพปกติ นั่นคือ เพื่อทำให้เรารู้สึกสดชื่นมีชีวิตชีวาหรือสบายขึ้น เพื่อเปลี่ยนอารมณ์หรือการรับรู้ของเรา ปัจจุบันนี้ ยาเสพติดได้เข้ามาแพร่หลายในสังคมเราเป็นอย่างมาก ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเฮโรอีน มอร์ฟีน และอื่นๆ อีกกว่า 100 ชนิด ซึ่งนอกจากผู้ใหญ่จะติดยาเสพติดแล้ว ก็ยังมีเยาวชนไทยอายุน้อยๆ ลงไป ติดยาเสพติดเหล่านี้อีกด้วย ซึ่งนับว่าเป็นการสูญเสียทั้งทางด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และการปกครอง เพราะนอกจากผู้เสพยาเสพติดทั้งหลายนี้ จะได้สามารถประกอบอาชีพทำการงานต่างๆไม่ได้แล้ว ยังก่ออาชญากรรม ทำให้เกิดปัญหาต่อสังคม กระทบกระเทือนต่อประชาชนผู้ไม่ได้เสพยาเสพติดอีกด้วย
สาเหตุการติดยาเสพติดในปัจจุบันมีหลายสาเหตุ อาทิเช่น
- การหาซื้อยาไปกินเองโดยไม่ได้รับคำแนะนำจากแพทย์ เมื่อกินบ่อยๆก็จะทำให้ติดได้
- ครอบครัวที่พ่อแม่ไม่มีเวลาดูแลบุตรหลาน เพราะต้องไปประกอบอาชีพนอกบ้าน ทำให้บุตรหลานไปคบเพื่อนนอกบ้าน อาจจะมีเพื่อนทีชักนำไปเสพสิ่งเสพติด หรือถูกหลอกลวงไปในทางที่ผิด หรือแม้แต่พ่อ แม่หย่าร้างกัน ก็อาจเป็นสาเหตุที่ทำให้บุตรหลานไปเสพยาเสพติดได้
เราจะพูดถึงสาเหตุของการติดยาเสพติดที่มาจากครอบครัวมีปัญหา ไม่ว่าจะเป็น พ่อแม่ไม่มีเวลาดูแลลูก พ่อแม่หย่าร้างกัน กรณีเหล่านี้อาจทำให้เด็กเกิดความคับแค้นใจ เพราะคิดว่าตนไม่ได้รับความยุติธรรม ทำให้เด็กหันไปใช้ยาเสพติด ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากเด็ก ต้องการใช้ยาเป็นที่พึ่ง เนื่องจากมีความทุกข์ทางใจ หรืออาจจะมีปมด้อยหรืออาจเป็นเพราะเด็กขาดความรัก ความเอาใจใส่จากพ่อแม่ เมื่อเหงาก็ต้องออกไปหาเพื่อนข้างนอก ซึ่งอาจเป็นหนทางนำไปสู่ปัญหาการใช้ยาเสพติดได้ เด็กทุกคนนั้นอยากเป็นคนดี เป็นที่รักของทุกคน เป็นคนที่มีค่า มีความหมายต่อพ่อแม่ ต่อสังคมของตัวเอง ไม่มีใครอยากเป็นคนเลวหรืออยากจะไปติดยาเสพติด แต่การกระทำในบางครั้งของเด็กคิดว่า ตนทำถูกแล้ว ทำดีแล้ว แต่บางครั้งก็อาจจะตรงกันข้ามกับความคิดของผู้ใหญ่ ก็อาจทำให้เกิดการไม่เข้าใจกัน ด้วยความเป็นเด็ก การตัดสินใจ การใช้เหตุผล บางครั้งอาจจะไม่รอบคอบ ไม่เด็ดขาดเท่าที่ควร ทำให้เป็นหนทางที่จะนำไปสู่สิ่งเสพติดได้ง่าย
