ทุกศาสนาในโลกนี้มีคำสอนให้ประชาชนทุกคนประพฤติตนเป็นคนดี ทั้งดีต่อสังคมและดีต่อศาสนา วิธีการทำความดีนั้นแต่ละศาสนาก็จะแตกต่างกันไป ตามแต่หลักการของศาสนานั้น ๆ แต่ทุกศาสนาก็มีสิ่งที่เหมือนกัน คือการให้ความสำคัญแก่จิตใจ การเชื่อมั่นในความดี การเสียสละ โดยให้เห็นแก่ตัวน้อยที่สุด จนไม่มีความเห็นแก่ตัวเป็นที่สุด แต่ปัจจุบันทุกศาสนากำลังเผชิญกับปัญหาท้าทายร่วมกัน บางศาสนาเผชิญกับปัญหาท้าทายจากภายนอก บางศาสนาเผชิญกับปัญหาท้าทายจากภายใน และบางศาสนาก็เผชิญกับปัญหาท้าทายทั้งสองประการ
