วัดราชประดิษฐาน (วัดพะโคะ) สงขลา

ที่ตั้ง ตำบลชุมพล อำเภอสทิงพระ จังหวัดสงขลา

ประวัติความเป็นมาวัดราชประดิษฐานหรือวัดพะโคะตั้งอยู่บนเขาพะโคะ เป็นวัดโบราณสำคัญที่มีมาตั้งแต่สมัยกรุงศรีอยุธยาราวกลางพุทธศตวรรษที่ ๒๑ ถึง ๒๒ โบราณสถานที่สำคัญภายในวัด ได้แก่ เจดีย์บรรจุพระมหาธาตุ อุโบสถ วิหาร และศาลาตัดสินความ ปรากฏเอกสารทางประวัติศาสตร์กล่าวถึงการก่อสร้างพระสุวรรณมาลิกเจดีย์ว่าสร้างขึ้นโดยสมเด็จพระราชมุนี ซึ่งเชื่อกันว่าคือ สมเด็จพะโคะ หรือ หลวงพ่อทวด ได้รับพระราชทาน มาลิกเจดีย์และอิฐจากพระมหากษัตริย์กรุงศรีอยุธยาจึงได้สร้างเจดีย์เพื่อบรรจุมาลิกเจดีย์

บนเขาพะโคะ จากนั้นวัดพะโคะก็ได้เปลี่ยนชื่อเป็น “วัดราชประดิษฐาน”

๓. ห้ามมิให้เอาข้าพระคนทานไปใช้งานนอกเหนือจากศาสนิกา แต่อย่างหนึ่งอย่างใดแม้กระทั่งงานสร้างถิ่นฐานบ้านเมืองทุกแห่ง

๔. ห้ามไม่ให้เจ้าเมือง และกรมการบังคับกิจกระทงความทั้งเพ่งและอาญาธรรมาธิการอันเกิดในท้องที่ภูมิทาน หากแต่ให้กรมวัดบังคับกันเองโดยชอบธรรม
