This paper presents a research study examining the effects of the climate at the school; Recognition of student support; And norms of behavior in their homes, schools and neighborhoods with student behavior and grades, the author conducted a multi-level analysis of secondary data collected from 13,068 mostly low-income high school students across 43 school sites. Analysis was informed by theory and ecological risk and resilience perspective, the study suggests that students are likely to have better grades and work better in the context of the relationship more.
