ทั้งนี้ภายในงานนอกจากจะมีการแสดงผลงานทางวิชาการของเด็กกว่า 100 ชิ้นแล้ว ยังมีกิจกรรมประกอบด้วย การรับสมัครนักเรียน, การแสดงศิลปวัฒนธรรมไทย, แข่งตอบปัญหาทางวิชาการ, มหกรรม

สินค้าราคาถูก, การจำหน่ายสินค้า OTOP และมหกรรมเครื่องเสียงรถยนต์ พร้อมกันนี้ทางวิทยาลัยได้มีการเปิดโครงการ Thai – Aus Car Care ตามนโยบายของสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการอาชีวศึกษาที่มอบหมายให้สถานศึกษาทุกแห่งในสังกัดจัดตั้งศูนย์บ่มเพาะวิสาหกิจ เพื่อการศึกษา อันเป็นการเพิ่มขีดความสามารถให้แก่นักศึกษา สร้างเสริมประสบการณ์พาณิชย์ ให้นักเรียนมีพื้นฐานพร้อมที่จะเริ่มเปิดกิจการส่วนตัว หรือต่อยอดธุรกิจทางบ้าน ซึ่งสาขาวิชาเครื่องกลจึงได้ริเริ่มโครงการดังกล่าวขึ้น โดยได้เล็งเห็นถึงประสบการณ์จริงที่นักศึกษาจะได้รับ อันเป็นการเพิ่มพูนความชำนาญพร้อมที่จะออกสู่ตลาดแรงงาน

สำหรับสำหรับวิทยาลัยเทคนิคสัตหีบจัดตั้งขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 1 กันยายน 2512 โดยข้อตกลงระหว่างรัฐบาลไทยกับสาธารณรัฐออสเตรีย โดยสาธารณรัฐออสเตรีย ได้ช่วยเหลือด้านวิชาการ เครื่องจักร เครื่องมือ พร้อมกับส่งผู้เชี่ยวชาญทำการฝึกสอนครูและนักเรียน ส่วนรัฐบาลไทยเป็นผู้จัดหาที่ดินทำการก่อสร้างอาคารเรียนบนเนื้อที่ 64 ไร่ จึงได้ใช้ชื่อภาษาอังกฤษว่า THAI-AUSTRIAN TECHNICAL COLLERE วิทยาลัยเทคนิคสัตหีบได้พัฒนามาอย่างต่อเนื่อง จนได้รับการคัดเลือกให้เป็นสถานศึกษารางวัลพระราชทานในปีการศึกษา 2551 ปัจจุบันมีนักศึกษารวม 3766 คน เปิดสอนทั้งหมด 2 หลักสูตร ได้แก่หลักสูตรระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพ ( ปวช. ) ประกอบด้วย สาขาวิชาโลหะการ, สาขาวิชาเครื่องมือกลและซ่อมบำรุง,สาขาวิชาไฟฟ้าและอิเล็กทรอนิกส์, สาขาวิชาการโรงแรมและการท่องเที่ยว เป็นต้น และหลักสูตรระดับ
