การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง (Quasi-Experimental Design) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างและหาประสิทธิภาพสื่อมัลติมีเดียที่สร้างขึ้นด้วยโปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์ เรื่อง การเขียนสคริปต์ สำหรับนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี ผู้วิจัยได้กำหนดประเด็นในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย ประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่าง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล
ประชากร คือ นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี สาขาวิชา เทคโนโลยีมัลติมีเดียและแอนิเมชัน มหาวิทยาลัย นอร์ทกรุงเทพ ที่เลือกเรียนรายวิชาการเขียนสคริปต์ ในปีการศึกษา 2556 จำนวน 3 กลุ่ม โดยแต่ละกลุ่มมีจำนวน นักศึกษาดังนี้ กลุ่มที่ 1 นักศึกษาสาขาวิชาคอมพิวเตอร์กราฟิกและแอนิเมชั่น 4 ปี ปกติ ชั้นปีที่ 3 จำนวน 22 คน กลุ่มที่ 2 นักศึกษาสาขาวิชาเทคโนโลยีมัลติมีเดียและแอนิเมชัน 4 ปี ปกติ หลักสูตรเทียบโอน ชั้นปีที่ 1 จำนวน 30 คน กลุ่มที่ 3 นักศึกษาสาขาวิชาเทคโนโลยีมัลติมีเดียและแอนิเมชัน 4 ปี ปกติ หลักสูตรเทียบโอน โครงการ AP จำนวน 32 คน รวมจำนวน 84 คน
กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี หลักสูตรเทียบโอน ชั้นปีที่ 1 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2556 สาขาวิชา เทคโนโลยีมัลติมีเดียและแอนิเมชัน มหาวิทยาลัยนอร์ทกรุงเทพ จำนวน 30 คน ได้จากการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบกลุ่ม(Cluster Random Sampling ) โดยวิธีการจับฉลากเลือกมา 1 กลุ่มเรียน จาก 3 กลุ่มเรียน
