ชีวิตในรั้วมหาลัย คือการเริ่มต้นใหม่สำหรับการเรียนรู้กับสิ่งต่างๆทั้งเรื่องที่ดีทั้งเรื่องที่ไม่ดีการเรียนรู้ในครั้งนี้ไม่ได้มีเพียงวิชาความรู้แต่ต้องเรียนรู้วิธีการใช้ชีวิต การรับน้อง การคบเพื่อน การมีคนรักและอื่นๆอีกมากมายสำหรับใครหลายๆคนมันคือการเริ่มต้นใหม่และผมคือหนึ่งในนั้น เรื่องราวของผมเริ่มต้นจากการสอบติดที่มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์วิทยาเขตศรีราชาในคณะวิศวกรรมคอมพิวเตอร์ ผมเรียนจบมาจากกรุงเทพ ชลบุรีเป็นสถานที่ที่ผมไม่ค่อยได้มา นานๆจะมาสักครั้งมาเที่ยวบ้างมาธุระบ้าง ที่นี่จึงเป็นสถานที่ที่แปลกใหม่สำหรับผม เมื่อมาถึงผมพบเห็นความวุ่นวายในการลงทะเบียนแย่งหอใน(ซึ่งแน่นอนว่าผมมาไม่ทัน)ทำให้ต้องตัดใจไป ถัดมาคือการสอบสัมภาษณ์ทุกอย่างผ่านไปด้วยดีแต่หลังจากนั้นกิจกรรมรับน้องนิดๆหน่อยๆของรุ่นพี่ก็เกิดขึ้น ต้องขอบอกก่อนว่าผมเป็นคนขี้อายไม่กล้าแสดงออกอีกทั้งยังจบจาก โรงเรียนชายล้วนมาทำให้ค่อนข้างประหม่าเวลามีผู้หญิงอยู่ด้วยกิจกรรมความสนุกครั้งนี้จึงเป็นความน่ากลัวสำหรับผม ผมจำได้ว่าผมโดนเรียกออกไปเต้นมันเป็นอะไรที่น่าอายมากๆ แต่ก็สนุกดีครับได้เจอเพื่อนใหม่ ได้รู้จักรุ่นพี่รู้สึกว่ามันอบอุ่นดีครับ หลังจากจบกิจกรรมในวันสอบสัมภาษณ์ เรื่องต่อมาที่ผมอยากจะพูดถึงก็คือวันปรับพื้นฐาน ซึ่งโดยรวมแล้วจะเป็นการเรียบปรับปื้นฐานแต่ก็มีกิจกรรมแทรกเข้ามาด้วยเพื่อเป็นการเปิดโอกาสให้นิสิตใหม่ได้รับรู้ถึงประวัติความเป็นมาของมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งนี้ ได้รู้จักเพื่อน รุ่นพี่ สถานที่และสถานที่ศักสิทธิ์ต่างๆ มีหลากหลายกิจกรรมมากเลยครับ เวลาตั้ง 7 วันมันทำอะไรได้ตั้งเยอะ ผมได้เพื่อนเยอะแยะเลยทั้งเพื่อนผู้หญิงและเพื่อนผู้ชายผมคิดว่าอาการประหม่าผู้หญิงของผมคงหายไปแล้วล่ะเพราะรู้สึกว่าจะมีเพื่อนผู้หญิงมากกว่าเพื่อนผู้ชายเสียอีก กิจกรรมที่ผมประทับใจที่สุดในค่ายนี้ คือกิจกรรที่จัดในวันสุดท้ายทั้งการขึ้นแสตนการแข่งกีฬากิจกรรมที่รุ่นพี่จัดให้เพื่อเป็นการรับขวัญน้องพวกพี่ๆถือเทียนคนละ1อันแล้วยืนล้อมน้องๆร้องเพลงให้พวกผมฟังมันเป็นภาพที่ผมประทับใจมาก ผมรับรู้ได้ถึงความจริงใจของพี่ๆที่้ตั้งใจจะทำเพื่อพวกผมหลังจากคืนนั้นจนถึงวันนี้ภาพเหล่านั้นยังตราตรึงอยู่ในหัวใจไม่เคยหายไปไหนเลยครับ พอจบกิจกรรมค่ายปรับพื้นฐานแล้วการเปิดเทอมก็ตามมากันติดๆ การเรียนในแต่ละวิชาสนุกมากครับอาจารย์แต่ละท่านทั้งเก่งและเป็นกันเองมากๆสอนทั้งวิชาความรู้และวิชาชีวิต ผมได้อะไรหลายๆอย่างจากอาจารย์ของที่นี่ รุ่นพี่ก็ดีครับไม่เคยทิ้งพวกผมเลยจะคอยเรียกคุยเสมอว่ามีปัญหาอะไรหรือเปล่า คอยให้คำปรึกษาเรื่องเรียนเรื่องในชีวิตประจำวันได้เป็นอย่างดี กิจกรรมก็เยอะมากครับ สมชื่อวิศวกรรมศาสตร์จริง ผมรู้สึกสนุกและภาคภูมิใจกับการร้องเพลงของมหาลัยเพลงประจำคณะ
