หลายฉบับมาแล้วนะครับ ที่ทางกองบรรณาธิการอนุสาร อ.ส.ท. ได้เปิดให้คุณผู้อ่านทางบ้านลงคะแนนเสียง เฟ้นหาแหล่งท่องเที่ยวในประเทศไทยที่คิดว่าเป็นสุดยอดในดวงใจ เนื่องในโอกาสพิเศษที่อนุสาร อ.ส.ท. มีอายุ "กึ่งศตวรรษ" ครบรอบ 50 ปีเต็ม ในฉบับเดือนสิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2553 นี้ ครบรอบ 5 ทศวรรษทั้งที จะโหวตแค่ 10 อันดับ เหมือนครั้งก่อนก็ดูเหมือนจะไม่ค่อยยิ่งใหญ่สมศักดิ์ศรีนิตยสารท่องเที่ยวที่เก่าแก่ที่สุด และมียอดขายสูงสุดตลอดกาลของประเทศอย่างอนุสาร อ.ส.ท. สักเท่าไหร่ครับ งานนี้ก็เลยเปิดให้โหวตกัน 50 อันดับ เท่ากับอายุของอนุสาร อ.ส.ท. พอดิบพอดีไปเลย โดยแบ่งออก 5 ประเภท ประเภทละ 10 แหล่ง
