วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการใช้ไฟฟ้าในครัวเรือนและปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการใช้ไฟฟ้าในครัวเรือนตำบลมะขามเตี้ย อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี เครื่องมือที่ใช้คือแบบสอบถามโดยเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ประชากรครัวเรือนตำบลมะขามเตี้ย อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี จำนวน 315 ครัวเรือน และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลหาค่าสถิติโดยใช้ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าร้อยละ ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และใช้สถิติ F-statistic
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง มีอายุระหว่าง 41-50 ปี การศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา มีอาชีพเกษตรกร มีรายได้เฉลี่ยต่อเดือน 15,001-30,000 บาท และรายจ่ายค่าไฟต่อเดือน มากกว่า 1001 บาท มีพฤติกรรมการใช้ไฟฟ้าในครัวเรือนอยู่ในระดับดีสื่อถึงการมีพฤติกรรมในการประหยัดพลังงานไฟฟ้า
