วัดพระศรีมหาธาตุวรมหาวิหาร หรือ วัดใหญ่
เป็นวัดที่สำคัญที่สุดของ จังหวัดพิษณุโลก ตั้งอยู่ริมแม่น้ำน่านฝั่งตะวันออกริมถนนพุทธบูชา ต. ในเมือง อ. เมือง จ. พิษณุโลก เป็นวัดหลวงชั้นเอก “ วรมหาวิหาร ” ภายในวิหารของวัดเป็นที่ประดิษฐานของ “ พระพุทธชินราช ” หรือที่ชาวเมืองพิษณุโลกเรียกว่า “ หลวงพ่อใหญ่ ” ซึ่งเป็นพระพุทธรูปปางมารวิชัยขนาดใหญ่หล่อด้วยทองสำริดในสมัยพระมหาธรรมราชาที่ 1 ( พญาลิไท ) โปรดให้สร้างขึ้นพร้อมกับพระพุทธชินสีห์ ปัจจุบันประดิษฐานอยู่ที่วัดสุทัศน์ เทพวราราม และพระศรีศาสดาซึ่งประดิษฐานอยู่ที่วัดบวรนิเวศวิหาร
