การจัดทำโครงการพิเศษนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1.เพื่อออกแบบรูปแบบการแท่นแสดงผลงานจัดวางนักศึกษา สาขาออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์อุตสาหกรรม 2.เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจในการอออกแบบรูปแบบการจัดวางแท่นแสดงผลงานนักศึกษา สาขาออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์อุตสาหกรรม โดยใช้การทำแบบสอบถามผู้บริโภค จำนวน 50 ชุด เพื่อนำผลสรุปจากแบบสอบถามมาใช้ในการออกแบบรูปแบบการจัดวางแท่นแสดงผลงาน ผลการศึกษาพบว่ามีผู้สนใจในรูปแบบการจัดวางแท่นแสดงผลงานนักศึกษา สาขาออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์อุตสาหกรรม อยู่ในเกณฑ์มาก มีผู้เข้าร่วมจัดทำโครงการพิเศษ รูปแบบการจัดวางแท่นแสดงผลงานนักศึกษา สาขาออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์อุตสาหกรรม จำนวน 3 คน แนวทางหลักในการออกแบบ คือ
