 ประวัติความเป็นมาของศูนย์วัฒนธรรมเฉลิมราชวัดท่าโสม




                   สืบเนื่องจาก พระครูวิมลโสมนันท์ เจ้าอาวาสวัดท่าโสม มีความมุ่งมั่นที่จะสร้างสังคมให้เข้มแข็งให้คนในหมู่บ้านและตำบลอยู่เย็นเป็นสุขอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างสมานฉันท์บนพื้นฐานคุณธรรม พัฒนาสังคมและชุมชน  ให้มีสันติสุขอย่างยั่งยืน รักษาสืบทอดศิลปวัฒนธรรมของท้องถิ่น คนในหมู่บ้านมีความสามัคคี เอื้ออาทรต่อกันแบบญาติพี่น้อง รวมถึงประชาชนในพื้นที่ได้เล็งเห็นความสำคัญของวัฒนธรรมไทย จึงได้จัดทำแนวคิดที่จะส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้คู่คุณธรรมส่งเสริมทำนุบำรุงรักษาและรักษาศิลปวัฒนธรรมไทยทุกด้าน รวมทั้งศิลปวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่นและภูมิปัญญาไทยให้มีการค้นคว้า วิจัย ฟื้นฟูและพัฒนา พร้อมทั้งต่อยอดแหล่งเรียนรู้ทางวัฒนธรรมพื้นถิ่น  เพื่อเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้ทางวัฒนธรรม โดยในปี พ.ศ.๒๕๔๘ ได้ดำเนินการ “ศูนย์บูรณาการวัฒนธรรมไทยสายใยชุมชน” ตามแนวทางของกระทรวงวัฒนธรรม และในปี พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๙ ได้เปลี่ยนชื่อเป็น “ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมไทยสายใยชุมชนตำบลท่าโสม” ที่เน้นการดำเนินงานโดยองค์กรต่างๆ และชุมชนภายในท้องถิ่น




                   ต่อมาในปีพ.ศ.๒๕๕๕ ได้จัดตั้งเป็น “ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมเฉลิมราชวัดท่าโสม”ตามแนวทาง ของกรมส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรม เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวเนื่องในวโรกาสที่มีพระชนมายุ ๘๔ พรรษา และให้เป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้ทางวัฒนธรรม ด้านมรดกภูมิปัญญาทางวัฒนธรรมของท้องถิ่น ที่เกิดจากการบูรณาการของหน่วยงานต่างๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน ชุมชน และองค์การบริหารการพัฒนา พื้นที่พิเศษเพื่อการท่องเที่ยวอย่างยั่งยืน ภายในพื้นที่ตำบลท่าโสม มีสถานที่สำคัญ ประกอบด้วย อาคารศาลา  




                   ทรงไทยอายุ ๑๕๐ ปี โบสถ์ที่ประดิษฐานพระพุทธรูปหยกขาวและพระพุทธรูปไม้ ซึ่งเป็นพระคู่บ้านคู่เมือง ของจังหวัดตราด รวมถึงการจัดรูปแบบพิพิธภัณฑ์ที่แสดงวัตถุสิ่งของตามวิถีชีวิตของชาวท่าโสม เช่น การจัดแสดงเครื่องมือการทำการเกษตรสมัยโบราณ เครื่องลายคราม เครื่องเบญจรงค์ เครื่องใช้ทองเหลือง เครื่องปั้นดินเผา เครื่องจักสาน เครื่องเงิน เศียรครูต่างๆ  และข้อมูลมรดกภูมิปัญญาด้านต่างๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับวิถีชีวิตของชาวท่าโสม เช่น การแปรรูปอาหาร การแสดงพื้นบ้าน ดนตรีไทย ตำรายา พืชพื้นเมืองที่หายาก ว่าวพื้นบ้านที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของพื้นที่ ได้แก่ ว่าวดุ๊ยดุ่ย เป็นต้น




                   ในปีงบประมาณ ๒๕๕๖ ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมเฉลิมราชวัดท่าโสม ได้รับการคัดเลือก ให้เป็นศูนย์วัฒนธรรมเฉลิมราชที่มีศักยภาพในภูมิภาคภาคกลางและภาคตะวันออก ประจำปี ๒๕๕๖ ซึ่งมีประสิทธิภาพและพร้อมที่จะเปิดศูนย์เป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้ทางวัฒนธรรม ให้แก่ผู้ที่สนใจและประชาชนทั่วไป  ให้เข้ามาศึกษาหาความรู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับมรดกภูมิปัญญาทางวัฒนธรรมภายในพื้นที่และได้รับการอบรม
ณ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่และจังหวัดลำปาง เมื่อวันที่ ๒๙ พฤษภาคม - ๒ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๖ เพื่อพัฒนาศักยภาพการดำเนินงานศูนย์วัฒนธรรมเฉลิมราช ร่วมกับศูนย์วัฒนธรรมเฉลิมราชที่มีศักยภาพอีก ๓ แห่ง ได้แก่ ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมเฉลิมราชตำบลคลองแห อำเภอหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมเฉลิมราชวัดพระธาตุดอยสะเก็ด อำเภอดอยสะเก็ด จังหวัดเชียงใหม่และศูนย์วัฒนธรรมเฉลิมราชพิพิธภัณฑ์เมืองโพนพิสัย อำเภอโพนพิสัย จังหวัดหนองคาย




                   นอกจากนี้ยังมีการเปิดพื้นที่อำเภอท่าโสม และพื้นที่เกาะช้าง ที่มีประวัติศาสตร์สืบเนื่องกัน มาตั้งแต่อดีต โดยการวางแนวทางการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมที่มีเอกลักษณ์ ที่ได้รับความร่วมมือจากประชาชน  ในชุมชน องค์กรภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน สถาบันการศึกษา ผู้นําชุมชนในการสนับสนุน ผู้บริหารศูนย์และคณะกรรมการวางแนวทางในการพัฒนาตลอดเวลา ผ่านทุนทางวัฒนธรรม ด้านวิถีชีวิต ภูมิปัญญาต่างๆ ที่หลากหลาย ทุนทางสังคม ด้านคน สิ่งแวดล้อม ให้ก่อให้เกิดความยั่งยืนของประชาชนชาวท่าโสม โดยเปิดเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวทางวัฒนธรรมของชาวจังหวัดตราดต่อไป
