การศึกษาค้นคว้าครั้งนี้เป็นการศึกษาเชิงสำรวจ (Survey Research) มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาการรับรู้การสอนผ่านโทรทัศน์ครูของนักศึกษาหลักสูตรประกาศนียบัตรบัณฑิตวิชาชีพครู มหาวิทยาลัยเซนต์จอห์น โดยศึกษาประชากรทั้งหมด จำนวน 160 คน มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการวิจัย คือ 1)เพื่อศึกษาการรับรู้การสอนผ่านโทรทัศน์ครูของนักศึกษาหลักสูตรประกาศนียบัตรบัณฑิตวิชาชีพครู มหาวิทยาลัยเซนต์จอห์น และ 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบการรับรู้การสอนผ่านโทรทัศน์ครูหลักสูตรประกาศนียบัตรบัณฑิตวิชาชีพครูมหาวิทยาลัยเซนต์จอห์น จำแนกตามประสบการณ์การสอน ระดับชั้นเรียนที่สอน และกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ที่สอน
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า เรื่องการรับรู้การสอนผ่านโทรทัศน์ครูของนักศึกษาหลักสูตรประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพครู มหาวิทยาลัยเซนต์จอห์ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ( =3.73) โดยระดับการรับรู้การสอนผ่านโทรทัศน์ครู ใน ด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงที่สุดมี 2 ด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านการพัฒนานวัตกรรมทางการศึกษา และ ด้านการพัฒนาความก้าวหน้าในวิชีพครู มีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ที่ ( =3. 81) และด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยรองลงมาคือ ด้านกระบวนการเรียนการสอน มีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ที่ ( = 3.57)
ผลการเปรียบเทียบทั้ง 3) ด้านมีดังนี้ 1) ประสบการณ์การสอนพบว่านักศึกษาหลักสูตรประกาศนียบัตรบัณฑิตวิชาชีพครูที่มีประสบการณ์การสอนต่างกันมีการรับรู้การสอนผ่านโทรทัศน์ครูต่างกันโดยนักศึกษาที่มีประสบการณ์การสอน 5-10 ปี มีการรับรู้การสอนผ่านโทรทัศน์ครูภาพรวมแต่ละด้านและด้านการพัฒนาความก้าวหน้าในวิชาชีพครูมีค่าเฉลี่ยที่ ( =3.85) มากกว่ากลุ่มอื่นๆและนักศึกษาที่มีประสบการณ์การสอนมากกว่า 15 ปีขึ้นไปมีการรับรู้ด้านกระบวนการเรียนการสอนอยู่ที่ ( =3.75) และด้านการพัฒนานวัตกรรมทางการศึกษาที่มีประสบการณ์มากกว่ากลุ่มอื่นๆ 2) ระดับชั้นเรียนที่สอน พบว่านักศึกษาหลักสูตรประกาศนียบัตรบัณฑิตวิชาชีพครูที่มีระดับชั้นเรียนที่สอนต่างกันมีการรับรู้การสอนผ่านโทรทัศน์ครูต่างกันโดยนักศึกษาอาชีวศึกษามีการรับรู้การสอนผ่านโทรทัศน์ครูและด้านการพัฒนาความก้าวหน้าในวิชาชีพครูมีค่าเฉลี่ยที่ ( =3.91) และด้านการพัฒนานวัตกรรมทางการศึกษาด้านปฐมวัยมากกว่ากลุ่มอื่นๆ 3) กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ที่สอน พบว่านักศึกษาหลักสูตรประกาศนียบัตรบัณฑิตวิชาชีพครูที่มีกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ที่สอนต่างกันมีการรับรู้การสอนผ่านโทรทัศน์ครูต่างกันโดยนักศึกษาที่เรียนกลุ่มวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ และวิชาสังคมศาสนา และวัฒนธรรม มีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากันและด้านการพัฒนานวัตกรรมทางการศึกษาและด้านการพัฒนาความก้าวหน้าในวิชาชีพครูมีค่าเฉลี่ย ( =3.96) มากกว่ากลุ่มอื่นๆ
