เนื่องจากปัจจุบันในแผนกคอมพิวเตอร์ธุรกิจของเรา มีวัสดุ/ครุภัณฑ์ จำนวนมากซึ่งยากต่อการสำรวจดังนั้นคณะผู้จัดการทำโปรแกรมบริหารวัสดุครุภัณฑ์ของแผนกคอมพิวเตอร์ขึ้นมาโดยโครงการนี้เป็นการพัฒนาโปรแกรมระบบบริหารวัสดุ/ครุภัณฑ์ของแผนกคอมพิวเตอร์โดยการนำโปรแกรม Visual Studio 2010 มาใช้พัฒนาโปรแกรมระบบบริหารวัสดุ-ครุภัณฑ์ แผนกคอมพิวเตอร์ เพื่อให้ผู้ใช้งานสามารถใช้งานได้ง่ายและแบ่งการใช้งานเป็นหมวดหมู่ เป็นโปรแกรมที่ไม่มีความซับซ้อนใดๆ โครงการนี้จัดทำขึ้นโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อจัดการเก็บข้อมูลวัสดุ/ครุภัณฑ์ได้อย่างถูกต้องเพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกผู้ใช้งานโปรแกรม และทุ่นแรงงานได้เป็นอย่างดี
ทางคณะผู้จัดการจึงมองเห็นความสำคัญในการจัดทำโครงการบริหารวัสดุ/ครุภัณฑ์ เพื่อเป็นการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ของนักศึกษาให้มีความรู้ในระบบฐานข้อมูลและโปรแกรม Visual Studio 2012 และจัดทำโปรแกรมเพื่อเป็นประโยชน์แก่ผู้สนใจอยากใช้งานโปรแกรม และยังช่วยประหยัดเวลาในการใช้งาน และลดแรงงานของบุคลากรและสามารถดูยอดคงเหลือในแต่เดือนได้ อีกทั้งยังช่วยลดการจัดเก็บเอกสารซึ่งอาจจะหายหรือชำรุดได้
