เขื่อนสิริกิต
เป็นเขื่อนดินที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในประเทศไทยก่อสร้างขึ้น ตามโครงการพัฒนา ลุ่ม น้ำน่าน เดิมชื่อ "เขื่อนผาซ่อม" ต่อมาได้รับพระบรมราชานุญาตให้อัญเชิญพระนามาภิไธย สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถขนานนามว่า "เขื่อนสิริกิติ์" เมื่อวันที่ 24 พฤษภาคม 2511 ก่อสร้างขึ้น ปิดกั้นแม่น้ำน่าน ณ บริเวณเขาผาซ่อม ตำบลผาเลือด อำเภอท่าปลา จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ อยู่ห่างจากตัวเมืองอุตรดิตถ์ไปทางทิศตะวันออกประมาณ 58กิโลเมตร ประโยชน์
เขื่อนสิริกิติ์จัดเป็นเขื่อนอเนกประสงค์ประโยชน์ที่ได้จากเขื่อนนี้มีหลายประการคือ

การชลประทาน
