​การศึกษาค้นคว้าครั้งนี้มุ่งหมายที่จะสำรวจศึกษาถึงรูปแบบและระดับของการมีส่วนร่วมของผู้ปกครองด้านงานวิชาการของโรงเรียน, เพื่อนำผลจากการศึกษานี้ไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการบริหาร.วางแผน, พัฒนา และปฏิบัติการทางวิชาการ อย่างประสิทธิภาพ, ประสิทธิผล และยั่นยืน โดยให้ผู้ปกครองเข้ามามีบทบาทและส่วนร่วมอย่างกว้างขวาง ที่โรงเรียนบ้านหูลิงโนนศิลา อำเภอชนบท สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาขอนแก่น เขต 2

มีผู้ปกครองของนักเรียนและกรรมการสถานศึกษาจำนวน 80 ราย ของนักเรียนระดับประถมที่โรงเรียนบ้านหูลิงโนนศิลา ให้ความร่วมมือเข้าร่วมในการวิจัยครั้งนี้. มีการใช้แบบสอบถามที่ให้ผู้ตอบคำถามกรอกเองในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล, และได้รับแบบสอบถามกลับมาทั้งหมดครบ 80 ชุด. ได้คำนวณหาค่าร้อยละ (%) และค่าเฉลี่ย () และ ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (SD.) ทางสถิติจากข้อมูลที่รวบรวมมาทั้งหมด
