สิทธิในการถือครองกรรมสิทธ์ที่ดินนั้นมีความสำคัญกับประชาชนเป็นอย่างยิ่งโดยเฉพาะเกษตรกรที่ประกอบอาชีพภาคการเกษตรโดยการจัดสรรการใช้ที่ดินให้เหมาะสมและเพียงพอต่อภาคการเกษตรทางพืช และภาคการเกษตรทางสัตว์ ส่งผลต่อการเกิดรายได้ของเกษตรกร การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อใช้เครื่องมือทางเศรษฐมิติค้นหาดูความสัมพันธ์ของการถือครองกรรมสิทธ์ที่ดินและปัจจัยต่างๆที่มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อรายได้ภาคการเกษตรโดยรวมของประเทศโดยจำแนกตามภูมิภาค ใช้ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิแบบภาคตัดขวาง กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีทั้งหมด 76 จังหวัดของประเทศไทยมาวิเคราะห์โดยใช้สมการถดถอย Multiple Regression แบบวิธี OLS ผลการศึกษาพบว่าขึ้นอยู่กับขนาดการถือครองกรรมสิทธ์ที่ดินของแต่ละพื้นที่ และปัจจัยต่างๆที่ส่งผลให้รายได้มวลรวมภาคการเกษตรของแต่ละภูมิภาค จึงแนวทางในการดำเนินการแก้ไขปัญหาได้เน้นในส่วนของการกำหนดนโยบาย ซึ่งอาจเป็นการช่วยเหลือเกษตรกรและส่งเสริมระบบเศรษฐกิจให้เจริญเติบโตมากขึ้น
