การศึกษาค้นคว้าครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเป็นการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการตัดสินใจของผู้ปกครองในการส่งบุตรหลานเข้าเรียนศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กวัดผาหนาม อำเภอลี้ จังหวัดลำพูน ประชากร ที่ใช้ในการศึกษา ได้แก่ ผู้ปกครองนักเรียน ศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กวัดผาหนาม สังกัดเทศบาลป่าไผ่ อำเภอลี้ จังหวัดลำพูน จำนวน 50 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แบบสอบถาม (Questionnaire) ชนิดมาตราส่วนประเมินค่า (Rating Scale) ชนิด 5 ระดับ ตามวิธีการของ เรนซิสลิเคอร์ท (Rensis Likert) สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
การตัดสินใจของผู้ปกครองในการส่งบุตรหลานเข้าเรียนศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กวัดผาหนาม สังกัดเทศบาลป่าไผ่ อำเภอลี้ จังหวัดลำพูน ทั้ง 4 ด้าน อยู่ในระดับมาก โดยเรียงค่าเฉลี่ยจากมากไปหาน้อยดังนี้ ด้านอาคารสถานที่สิ่งแวดล้อม และความปลอดภัย ด้านบุคลากรและการบริหารจัดการด้านวิชาการกิจกรรมตามหลักสูตร และด้านการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน
