4) รณรงค์เผยแพร่ข้อมูลข่าวสารสถานการณ์ไฟป่าอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อให้ประชาชนทราบถึงแนวทางการป้องกันไฟป่า การแก้ไขปัญหาไฟป่า การระมัดระวังอันตรายจากไฟป่า และผลกระทบจากไฟป่า โดยเฉพาะผลกระทบที่มีต่อสุขภาพอนามัยของประชาชน และการท่องเที่ยว
5) รณรงค์และขอความร่วมมือจากหน่วยงานต่าง ๆ ชุมชน/หมู่บ้าน และประชาชนในพื้นที่งดเว้นการจุดไฟใกล้บริเวณแนวเขตป่า
ยุทธศาสตร์การป้องกันไฟป่าและหมอกควัน

1) ส่งเสริมความรู้การนำเกษตรอินทรีย์ปลอดการเผา การใช้เทคโนโลยีการเกษตรปลอดการเผา การจัดระเบียบการเผา การใช้ประโยชน์เศษวัสดุการเกษตร และลดการเผาพื้นที่เกษตร นอกจากนี้ ยังรวมไปถึงการควบคุมการเผาในเขตชุมชน และสองข้างทาง
