ครั้งที่ ๓ ปี พ.ศ. ๒๕๓๑ และ ปี พ.ศ. ๒๕๓๔ – ๒๕๓๕ ได้บูรณะพระวิหารอีกครั้ง โดยงบประมาณจากกรมศิลปากร มูลนิธิพระธาตุขามแก่น และศรัทธาของพุทธศาสนิกชน มีการเสริมความมั่นคงแข็งแรง ความสวยงาม รวมถึงการเทพื้นคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็กและอาคาร สถานที่โดยรอบ
