หลากหลายประการ ความเสื่อมโทรมของป่าชายเลนได้ส่งผลกระทบต่อมนุษย์ในด้านต่าง ๆ มากมาย เช่น ผู้ประกอบอาชีพประมงชายฝั่งขาดรายได้เลี้ยงครอบครัว ชุมชนที่อาศัย

3. กำหนดพื้นที่และช่วงเวลาในการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรประมง เช่น ห้ามจับปลาในฤดูวางไข่ การทำธนาคารปู เป็นต้น
4. ปล่อยพันธุ์สัตว์น้ำและปลูกป่าชายเลนในพื้นที่ว่างเปล่าและในพื้นที่เสื่อมโทรมเพื่อสร้างความอุดมสมบูรณ์ให้กับทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและเพิ่มความหลากหลายของชนิด
