แมงดาจาน (อังกฤษ: Giant king crab, Coastal horseshoe crab; ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์: Tachypleus gigas) เป็นแมงดาทะเลเพียงหนึ่งในสองชนิดที่พบได้ในประเทศไทย (อีกหนึ่งชนิดนั้นคือ แมงดาถ้วย (Carcinoscorpius rotundicauda) และจัดเป็นหนึ่งในชนิดที่อยู่ในสกุล Tachypleus (อีกหนึ่งชนิดนั้นคือ แมงดาญี่ปุ่น (T. tridentatus))

แมงดาจานนั้น มีอีกชื่อเรียกหนึ่งว่า แมงดาทะเลหางเหลี่ยม หรือ แมงดาทะเลหางสามเหลี่ยม ตามลักษณะของหาง จัดเป็นแมงดาทะเลชนิดที่รับประทานได้ โดยนิยมนำไข่และเนื้อมาย่าง หรือทำเป็นห่อหมก โดยที่พิษของแมงดาจานนั้น ในประเทศไทยยังไม่เคยมีรายงานพบ แต่ทว่าในต่างประเทศ มีรายงานพบประมาณ 10 เปอร์เซนต์ เช่นที่ สิงคโปร์
