มีอีกหนึ่งที่ต้องการนำมาแชร์ในวันนี้ เป็นคลิปจาก TED ซึ่งผมคิดว่าใครที่ได้ขึ้นเวทีนี้ต้องผ่านการฝึกซ้อมในการนำเสนอมาพอสมควร มีคนฟังเยอะ และผมชอบเข้ามาฟังอยู่เรื่อย ๆ เพราะคิดว่านอกจากได้ความรู้ในเรื่องต่างๆ ที่เราสนใจแล้ว ยังสามารถพัฒนาทักษะการฟังภาษาอังกฤษด้วย จึงขอแนะนำ http://www.ted.com ตรงนี้ด้วย

เข้าใจว่า Jon Jandai เป็นคนไทยอยู่ทางภาคอีสานของไทย ที่ชื่นชมในความสามารถในการขึ้นพูดที่ TED ได้ถือว่าเก่งมาก ภาษาอังกฤษก็ดีมากทีเดียว เขาไม่ได้เรียนจบมหาวิทยาลัยแต่อย่างใด และที่ทึ่งมากกว่านั้นก็คือ แนวความคิดของเขาที่คิดวิธีการใช้ชีวิตแบบง่าย ๆ ไม่ได้คิดว่าชีวิตนี้ต้องมีอะไรที่ซับซ้อนเลย เขาบอกว่าเขาอยู่ในชนบทแห่งหนึ่ง อยู่กันแบบชาวบ้านธรรมดาทั่ว ๆ ไป ไม่มีอะไรที่หรูหราเหมือนคนเมือง แต่สังคมหาว่าเขาเป็นคนจน ทั้ง ๆ ที่เขาไม่ได้คิดว่าเขาจนเลย แต่ไม่เมื่อสังคมคิดอย่างนั้น เขาลองเดินทางเข้ากรุงเทพฯ เพื่อหาเงิน ทำงานให้เยอะ ๆ เพื่อจะได้มีเงินเยอะ ๆ แต่เมื่อได้เงินมา เขาก็ต้องมีค่าใช้จ่ายที่เยอะตามไปด้วย ไป ๆ มา ๆ ชีวิตที่ทำงานหนักในเมือง กับการใช้ชีวิตที่มีเวลาว่างเยอะ ๆ ในชนบทก็ไม่ต่างอะไรเลย

เมื่อคิดเช่นนั้นแล้ว เขาก็เลยคิดต่อว่าแล้วทำไมฉันต้องทำงานหนัก ชีวิตนี้นี้มันสลับซับซ้อน ทำไมฉันจะอยู่แบบง่าย ๆ ไม่ได้หรือ อยู่แบบชีวิตพอเพียง สร้างบ้านง่าย ๆ ปลูกผักกินเอง หาปลาในนา เสื้อผ้าก็ไม่จำเป็นต้องซื้อราคาแพง ๆ มียี่ห้อ เพราะการที่ซื้อเสื้อผ้าแพง ๆ ก็ไม่ได้เปลี่ยนแปลงชีวิตเขาได้เลย เขาบอกว่าไม่ได้ซื้อเสื้อผ้ามาเป็นเวลา 20 ปีแล้ว บางคนบริจาคให้เขา ก็สามารถใส่ได้แล้ว
