รายได้ (revenue หรือ income)

หมายถึง ผลตอบแทนที่กิจการได้รับจากการขายสินค้าหรือบริการตามปกติของ
กิจการรวมทั้ง ผลตอบแทนอื่นๆ ที่ไม่ได้เกิดจากการดำเนินงานตามปกติ รายได้แบ่ง
ออกเป็น 2 ประเภท ดังนี้
1.รายได้จากการขาย (Sale revenue) หมายถึง รายได้ที่เกิดจากการขายสินค้า
หรือบริการอันเป็นรายได้จากการดำเนินงานตาม ปกติ เช่น กิจการซื้อขายสินค้า
รายได้ของกิจการ คือ รายได้จากการขายสินค้า ส่วนกิจการให้บริการ เช่น
ซ่อมเครื่องไฟฟ้า รายได้ของกิจการ คือ รายได้ค่าซ่อม

2.รายได้อื่น (Other incomes) หมายถึง รายได้ที่มิได้เกิดจากการดำเนินงาน
ตามปกติของกิจการซึ่งเป็นรายได้ที่ไม่ใช้ รายได้จากการขายสินค้าหรือบริการ
นั่นเอง
