วนอุทยานน้ำตกแม่สวรรค์น้อย มีเนื้อที่ประมาณ 2,812 ไร่ หรือ 4.5 ตารางกิโลเมตร ตั้งอยู่ในเขตพื้นที่ป่าสงวนแห่งชาติ ป่าแม่ยวมฝั่งซ้ายตอนล่างแปลง 2 ท้องที่ตำบลแม่เหาะ อำเภอแม่สะเรียง จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน เส้นละติจูดที่ 18 องศา 09 ลิปดา 53 ฟิลิปดา ถึง 18 องศา 11 ลิปดา 14 ฟิลิปดา เหนือ และเส้นลองติจูดที่ 98 องศา 04 ลิปดา 17 ฟิลิปดา ถึง 98 องศา 06 ลิปดา 34 ฟิลิปดา ตะวันออก
