โครงงานเรื่อง น้ำยาล้างจาน นี้จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อต้องการศึกษาค้นคว้าเกี่ยวกับความเป็นกรดของน้ำมะนาว ที่สามารถชำระล้างสิ่งสกปรกได้ดีพอๆ กับน้ำยาล้างจานที่มีสารเคมีหรือไม่ ต้นทุนต่ำและไม่มีสารตกค้าง เพราะใช้วัตถุดิบจากธรรมชาติ อย่างน้ำมะนาว น้ำด่าง น้ำเกลือ และหัวเชื้อน้ำยา โดยมีขั้นตอนการศึกษาค้นคว้า โดยนำหัวเชื้อลงไปกวนในถังโดยใช้ไม้กวนไปทางเดิม ห้ามกวนสวนทาง และใส่กรดมะนาว น้ำด่าง น้ำเกลือ ลงไปทีละนิดสลับกัน จนหมดกวนซักพักทิ้งไว้ และเมื่อนำไปล้างจานจะเกิดผลอย่างไร ผลปรากฏว่า เมื่อนำไปล้างจานจะสะอาดพอๆกับน้ำยาล้างจานที่มีสารเคมี มีต้นทุนที่ต่ำกว่า สามารถทำใช้เองได้ภายในบ้าน ทำให้ประหยัดค่าใช่จ่ายภายในบ้านด้วย
