รายงานฉบับนี้จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อปฎิบัติการเขียนรายงานการค้นคว้าที่ถูกต้องอย่างเป็นระบบอันเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการศึกษารายวิชา 01-200-001 สารนิเทศและการเขียนรายงานทางวิชาการซึ่งจะนำไปใช้ในการทำรายงานค้นคว้าสำหรับรายวิชา ได้อีกต่อไป การที่ผู้จัดทำเลือกทำเรื่อง “กองทุนเพื่อการฟื้นฟูและพัฒนาระบบสถาบันการเงิน” เนื่องด้วยสถานะเศรษฐกิจของไทยในปัจจุบันมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงเร็วมาก กระแสเงินจากต่างประเทศไหลออกจากภูมิภาคเอเชียอย่างรวดเร็ว ส่งผลให้ค่าเงินบาทมีแนวโน้มอ่อนลงต่อเนื่อง จากนั้นไม่นานเงินบาทก็แข็งค่าสลับกับอ่อนค่า จนยากจะคาดเดาได้ ภายใต้สภาพแวดล้อมโลกที่เปลี่ยนแปลงเร็วเช่นนี้ ประเทศไทยควรจะทำอย่างไร คงเป็นไปไม่ได้ที่เราจะลดความผันผวนหรือหลบหลีกความเสี่ยงต่างๆ ของเศรษฐกิจโลก สิ่งที่ดีที่สุดคือ ทำตัวเราให้แข็งแรงพอที่จะรับมือกับความผันผวนได้
