ภายหลังสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 1 ทั้งสองได้อพยพออกจากประเทศพม่ามาดำเนินกิจการต่อที่ประเทศสิงคโปร์ จนกิจการเติบโตมีการส่งจำหน่ายผลิตภัณฑ์ไปยังประเทศต่างๆทั่วโลก โดยในประเทศไทยมีการใช้ชื่อเรียกผลิตภัณฑ์ว่า “ยาหม่องตราเสือ” หรือที่เรียกกันสั้นๆจนติดปากคนไทยว่า “ยาหม่อง” คำว่า “หม่อง” เป็นชื่อสะท้อนของผลิตภัณฑ์ที่มีถิ่นกำเนิดในประเทศพม่านั่นเอง
แต่มีข้อสันนิษฐานในอีกด้านของที่มาคำว่า “ยาหม่อง” ที่กล่าวถึงตำรับยาหม่องที่ประกอบด้วยน้ำมันหม่องตะหยก มีลักษณะเป็นขี้ผึ้งอ่อน สีขาวขุ่น ทาแล้วร้อน ใช้ทาแก้เคล็ดขัดยอก ถือเป็นยาแก้เคล็ดขัดยอกที่ขายดีในสมัยนั้น และต่อมามีการทำน้ำมันหม่องตะกิดออกมาจำหน่ายบ้าง แต่ต่อมายาทั้งสองก็เลิกผลิต จนมีการผลิตขี้ผึ้งถูนวดขึ้นมาใช้แทน โดยมีคุณสมบัติคล้ายน้ำมันหม่อง จนเป็นที่มาของคำว่า “ยาหม่อง” ที่ใช้เรียกแทนชื่อน้ำมันหม่องที่เป็นต้นตำรับ

ปัจจุบันมีการผลิตยาหม่องออกมาจำหน่ายภายใต้ชื่อผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่หลายชนิด และเป็นคู่แข่งของยาหม่องตราเสือ เช่น ยาหม่องตราถ้วยทอง และยาหม่องตราลิงถือลูกท้อ เป็นต้น รวมถึงยาหม่องชนิดอื่นๆจากผลิตภัณฑ์ Otop
