โครงงานนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อลดปริมาณของแบคทีเรียภายในบ่อกุ้ง โดยใช้สิ่งประดิษฐ์ที่มีชื่อว่า เครื่องกรองน้ำสำหรับบ่อกุ้ง สิ่งประดิษฐ์ชิ้นนี้ถูกดัดแปลงมาจากอุปกรณ์บำบัดของเสียในตู้ปลา และประยุกต์เอาอุปกรณ์ต่างๆ ที่หาได้ง่ายในพื้นที่ที่ใช้ทำการเลี้ยงกุ้ง คือ ถังพลาสติก 200 ลิตร,ท่อพลาสติก,ใยฟู,ตาข่ายไนล่อนสีฟ้า,ทราย,กรวด และเครื่องสูบน้ำไดโว่ มาประกอบกันเป็นเครื่อง ทดสอบประสิทธิภาพด้วยการวัดค่าความเค็ม,ค่าความขุ่น-ใส,ค่าออกซิเจน,ปริมาณแบคทีเรียและค่าแร่ธาตุที่จำเป็น คือ แคลเซียม,ฟอสฟอรัส และแมกนีเซียม ของน้ำในบ่อที่ใช้ทำการทดลอง แล้วเปรียบเทียบค่าต่างๆ ที่กล่าวไว้เบื้องต้น ก่อนและหลังการใช้สิ่งประดิษฐ์ สังเกตและบันทึกผลทุกๆ 3 วัน รวมเวลา 15 วัน ซึ่งก็ได้ผลการทดลองคือ ก่อนใช้สิ่งประดิษฐ์ น้ำในบ่อมีค่าความเค็ม..... ,ค่าความขุ่น-ใส....,ค่าออกซิเจน.....,ปริมาณแบคทีเรีย....,ค่าแคลเซียม....,ค่าฟอสฟอรัส....และค่าแมกนีเซียม.... หลังใช้สิ่งประดิษฐ์ น้ำในบ่อมีค่าความเค็ม..... ,ค่าความขุ่น-ใส....,ค่าออกซิเจน.....,ปริมาณแบคทีเรีย....,ค่าแคลเซียม....,ค่าฟอสฟอรัส....และค่าแมกนีเซียม....
