Most of the people are disappointed with the government's handling of the economic affairs but satisfied with its suppression of corruption and dark influences, according to an opinion survey by Suan Dusit Rajabhat University or Suan Dusit Poll.

The poll was carried out on Sept 15-17 on 1,167 people throughout the country to compile their opinions on the government's report on its performance during the past two years.

Asked what satisfied them the most from the government's two years in office, most of them or 82.69% mentioned its suppression on corruption and dark influences; 78.32% its ability of maintain law and order; 70.69% its administration according to its road map; 67.32% its actions against encroachments of forest reserves and public land; and, 60.15% the development of infrastructure for transport.

To the question what disappointed them the most by the government, a huge majority or 80.54% mentioned its inability to solve the economic problems; 71.89% its handling of farm prices; 68.38% the restrictions of expression; 58.87% the rising criminal cases and serious crimes; and, 52.19% the insurgency problems in the southern border provinces.
