ชาริล ชับปุยส์ เกิดวันที่ 12 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2535 ที่เมืองโคลเทิน (Kloten) ประเทศสวิตเซอร์แลนด์ บิดาเป็นชาวสวิส มารดาเป็นชาวไทย มีส่วนสูง 177 เซนติเมตร ชาริลเริ่มต้นหัดเล่นฟุตบอลกับบิดาแต่เด็ก จนมีโอกาสเริ่มเล่นฟุตบอลระดับเยาวชนให้กับสโมสรโคลเทินที่สวิตเซอร์แลนด์ในปี พ.ศ. 2542 (ค.ศ. 1999) จากนั้น 1 ปี ก็ย้ายมาอยู่เอสซี ยังเฟลโลวส์ยูเวนตุส (SC Young Fellows Juventus)
