ทั้งนี้มะม่วงเป็นผลไม้เศรษฐกิจที่สำคัญของจังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา เป็นแหล่งผลิตที่มีคุณภาพดีที่สุดของประเทศอีกแหล่งหนึ่ง ซึ่งทำรายได้ให้แก่จังหวัดเชิงเทราเป็นอย่างมาก ตลอดระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมา หน่วยงานภาครัฐและภาคเอกชน โดยเฉพาะสำนักงานเกษตรจังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรากระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ และสภาเกษตรกรจังหวัดฉะเชิงเทราได้ส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนให้เกษตรกรชาวสวนมะม่วง มีการปรับปรุงพัฒนาคุณภาพการผลิตให้มีคุณภาพดีเป็นที่ยอมรับของตลาดทั้งภายในและต่างประเทศ พร้อมทั้งส่งเสริมสนับสนุนการรวมกลุ่มเกษตรกรเป็นวิสาหกิจชุมชนผู้ผลิตมะม่วงส่งออกจังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา ให้มีความเข้มแข็งเพิ่มขึ้น รวมทั้งเพื่อส่งเสริมด้านการตลาดให้สมาชิกวิสาหกิจชุมชน นำมะม่วงคุณภาพภาพดีมาจำหน่ายให้ผู้บริโภคโดยตรง เป็นการสร้างรายได้และเผยแพร่ การประชาสัมพันธ์ชื่อเสียงมะม่วงของจังหวัดฉะเชิงเทราให้รู้จักแก่ประชาชนทั่วไป
