English is the global language, almost people around the world speaking English as a first language. When people from different nationalities and languages talk together, they commonly use English for communication. Therefore, I think English is very important to me as follows. Nowadays I am studying in faculty of Liberal Arts majoring in Business English. At least it's necessary to have English as based-knowledge. I usually use English in my routine. I need to use English to talk with foreign teachers and have a conversation in class with friends every day. It is useful when go shopping or traveling somewhere because I can give information and direction to foreign tourists. Of course, English will help me get the advantage and opportunity to be offered a job easily in the future. Especially, I think people who have a good command of English will have the opportunity in employment and have been encouraged to become successful more than others who without language skills. In my opinion, English is useful to me, such as communication with people, keeping my career forward, and getting access to knowledge. The ASEAN is coming up soon. It concerns English is the key to career advancement in ASEAN. There is really no excuse for not learning English. Practice makes perfect!
