1. ถ่านหิน ถ่านหินเป็นแหล่งเชื้อเพลิงธรรมชาติชนิดหนึ่ง ประกอบด้วยสารคาร์บอน
มากกว่าร้อยละ 50 โดยน้ำหนัก และมากกว่าร้อยละ 70 โดยปริมาตร มีสีน้ำตาลอ่อนจนถึงสีดำ ถ่าน
