Chittagong hill area is far from Dhaka (capital) and people need more educational occation to improve oneself. A literacy rate is 61%(males), 52%(females).
There are some Buddhist monasteries in Dhaka and many in Chittagong. A clash has happened sometimes between Buddhist and Muslim. Some monasteries hold schools to offer basic education for boys.
