มีวิธีการเปลี่ยนจาก Direct Speech เ

มีวิธีการเปลี่ยนจาก Direct Speech เป็น Reported Speech ดังนี้
(1) ตัดเครื่องหมาย comma (,) ออก
(2) จะเติม that หลัง Reporting Verbs หรือไม่ก็ได้
(3) ตัดเครื่องหมายคำพูด (Quotation mark) ออก
(4) เปลี่ยนสรรพนามในคำพูดให้เข้ากับผู้พูด
(5) เปลี่ยน Tense ของคำกริยาในคำพูดให้เข้ากับ Reporting Verbs ซึ่งมี 2 แบบใหญ่ ๆ ดังนี้
5.1 ถ้ากริยานำเป็นปัจจุบัน (Present) ไม่ต้องเปลี่ยนแปลง Tense ใน Reported Speech
5.2 ถ้ากริยานำเป็นอดีต (Past) ต้องเปลี่ยนแปลง Tense ใน Reported Speech
