As you may have heard, we have already started the planning on integration with Cypress. Once the merger is approved, Spansion employees will access Cypress tools with an “alias/initials” that is similar to our Spansion NTID’s. The initials will also be used as your email address with Cypress.

These initials will be 4 characters in length, and are constructed from a logical combination of first, middle and last names. For example, for employee John A. Smith, the initials may be JASM and the email addresses [e-mail].

You will receive an email from [e-mail] with your assigned initials and your new Cypress email address within the next couple of weeks. Look for it, remember it and save it. These initials will allow you to receive Cypress email and access various Cypress tools (more details will come as we get closer to the merger sign-off) .
