เนื้อเรื่อง เมื่อผู้คุมแดนประหาร ต้องเจอกับเรื่องราวแปลกๆ ของนักโทษ ผู้หนึ่งชื่อ จอน คอฟฟี่ย์ จะเกิดอะไรขึ้น
-ด้านเนื้อเรื่อง หนังทำออกมาได้ดี สะท้อน แง่มุมด้านมืด ของมนุษย์ ออกมา ในเวลาที่นักโทษจะโดนประหาร ได้เศร้ามากๆ เนื้อเรื่อง ถึงจะเวอร์ ในความเป็นจริงคงไม่มีจริง แต่ในหนังก็ทำให้เราเห็นว่า ถ้ามันมีแบบนี้จริงๆ มันก็ไม่ได้สวยงามอย่างที่คิดนะ โลกมันไม่ได้สวยนะเว้ย เค้าต้องการตอกหน้าคนดูประมาณนี้
-ด้านการแสดง การแสดง ของทอม แฮงค์ เรียกได้ว่าไม่มีที่ติอยู่แล้ว แต่ที่อยากชมจริงๆ Doug Hutchison แสดงเป็นเพอร์ซี่ เราหาที่ติให้นายไม่ได้จริงๆ แสดงได้ดียิ่งกว่าทอม อีกมั้ง ไปดูในเรื่องเองครับแล้วจะเข้าใจเลย
-ด้านภาพ เป็นหนังยุค 1999 ที่CGดูสวยสดดี แต่ไม่รู้ทำไมนักแสดงเรื่องนี้แม่งเหงื่อแตกชิบหายเลย แต่ก็คงสมจริงละมั้ง อยู่ในคุก 5555
โดยรวมแล้ว บางคนเห็นหน้าปก ก็ไม่อยากดูแล้ว แต่เป็นหนังที่ค่อนข้าง ผู้ใหญ่ 18ขึ้นไปดูน่าจะสนุก ถ้าเป็นผมอายุ15 ดูเรื่องนี้ก็คงหลับ 555 ก็อย่าไปกลัวหน้าปกมันครับ ไปหามาดูให้ได้ล่ะ
