ประเพณีก่อเจดีย์ทราย เป็นประเพณีสำคัญประเพณีหนึ่งในช่วงเทศกาลของชาวไทย ประเพณีนี้มีที่มาจากหลักฐานใน พระไตรปิฎก ที่กล่าวพรรณาถึงอานิสงส์ที่พระโพธิสัตว์ก่อพระเจดีย์ทรายเพื่อถวายเป็นพุทธบูชา
