1.นำขี้เถ้ามาร่อนให้เหลือแต่ผงที่ไม่มีเศษถ่าน

4.เมื่อต้มเสร็จแล้วให้เทมะกรูดใส่กะละมังที่เตรียมไว้รอจนกว่ามะกรูดจะเย็น
5.เมื่อมะกรูดเย็น ให้บีบน้ำออกจากลูกมะกรูด จากนั้นนำตะกร้ามากรองเอาเม็ดออกเมื่อกรองเสร็จ ให้นำผ้าบางๆมากรองอีก 1 รอบ
6.เท N70 ใส่กะละมัง แล้วกวนให้ไปทางเดียวกันเป็นเวลา 5 นาที
7.เมื่อครบ 5 นาทีให้ค่อยๆใส่เกลือ น้ำด่าง และน้ำมะกรูดลงไปแล้วคนให้เข้ากันจนกว่าจะหมด
8.ใส่สีผสมอาหารแล้วกวนให้เข้ากัน รวมเป็นเวลา 30 นาที แล้วหยุดกวน
9.จากนั้นทิ้งไว้ 6 ชั่วโมง เพื่อให้ฟองหมด
10.หลังจากฟองหมดให้ตักใส่ขวดพลาสติกให้เรียบร้อยและสามารถนำไปใช้ได้เลย
