การวิจัยนี้ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจแบบภาคตัดขวาง (cross-sectional survey study)
มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความชุกและปัญหาทางการยศาสตร์ของบุคลากรที่ทำงานกับคอมพิวเตอร์ในมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่ง จำนวน 163 คน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย (samples) คือ บุคลากรที่ทำงานกับคอมพิวเตอร์ในมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่ง ทั้งเพศชายและหญิงที่อายุ 18 ปีขึ้นไป สามารถอ่านและเขียนภาษาไทยได้ เก็บข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างด้วยวิธีการใช้แบบสอบถามสำหรับการศึกษาความชุกของความผิดปกติของระบบกล้ามเนื้อและกระดูกโครงร่างพร้อมกับการใช้เครื่องมือ Flicker test สำหรับการวัดตาล้าจากกลุ่มตัวอย่าง แบบสอบถาม แบ่งเป็น 3 ส่วน คือ ส่วนที่ 1 แบบสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล ส่วนที่ 2 แบบสอบถามข้อมูลปัจจัยข้อมูลปัจจัยลักษณะงานและสภาพแวดล้อมการทำงาน ส่วนที่ 3 แบบสอบถามความผิดปกติของระบบกล้ามเนื้อและกระดูกโครงร่าง วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ สถิติเชิงพรรณนา ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่ามัธยฐาน ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าสูงสุด ค่าตํ่าสุด สถิติเชิงอนุมาน วิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ด้วยสถิติ Chi-squared test โดยสรุปผลได้ดังนี้
