กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นผู้ป่วยมะเร็งศีรษะและคอที่ได้รับยาเคมีบำบัด ในหอผู้ป่วยเคมีบำบัด โรงพยาบาลสรรพสิทธิประสงค์ จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี จำนวน 10 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถาม ประกอบด้วย 1) แบบสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล 2) แบบสัมภาษณ์ผู้ป่วย/ญาติ/ผู้ดูแลเกี่ยวกับความต้องการ/ปัญหาในการดูแลและการปฏิบัติ 3) แบบประเมินความรู้ความรู้ความสามารถในการปฏิบัติตนของผู้ป่วยมะเร็งศีรษะและคอที่ได้รับยาเคมีบำบัด 4) แบบวัดคุณภาพชีวิต 5) แบบวัดความพึงพอใจของทีมสหสาขาวิชาชีพ 6) แบบวัดความพึงพอใจของผู้ป่วย
